    G. Frank Wagner, D.V.M.

    Practice Owner / Veterinarian

    Dr. Wagner was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended Virginia Tech and finished his degree at the University of Georgia in 1971. After graduation, Dr. Wagner returned to Northern Virginia to work as an associate veterinarian before purchasing the Fredericksburg Animal Hospital in 1974. At that time he was one of only five veterinarians in the area.

    Dr. Wagner has a special interest in surgery. His studies include orthopedic surgery at Ohio State University and an advanced orthopedics course in Switzerland.

    Sheri Bakerian, V.M.D.

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Bakerian is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (class of 1984). After graduation, Dr. Bakerian worked in private practice as well as on the racetrack for two years. Since then she has lived and worked in the Fredericksburg area. Her special interests are internal medicine, dermatology, geriatric medicine nutrition and behavior problems.

    In her off hours she enjoys spending time with her family, both two legged and four legged.  She also enjoys gardening, gourmet cooking, and reading.

    Catherine Minniear, D.V.M.

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Minniear was born and raised in Fredericksburg and joined our staff as an associate veterinarian in the summer of 2006. She had worked with us as an undergraduate as she decided if veterinary medicine was for her.  We are pleased she chose the profession and to practice at our hospital.

    Dr. Minniear completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech and received her Veterinary degree from St. Kitts with a clinical year at Texas A & M Veterinary College. She enjoys preventive, internal medicine and general surgery.

    In her free time Dr. Minniear enjoys spending time with her pets, horseback riding, and competing in horse shows.
